Connected Spaces
We have formed partnerships to launch two new projects in 2022, both with the aim of creating more socially connected spaces in Massachusetts. By this, we mean places where people can gather, meet, and connect in the community, outside of their homes, workplaces, or schools.
Inclusive Greenspaces
We are supporting Healthy Places by Design to implement a pilot project that activates inclusive and intergenerational public greenspaces that build social connections, health, and well-being.
“Happy to Chat” Benches
In collaboration with the AARP MA Age Friendly and Livable Communities programs, we are deploying benches in multiple neighborhoods that invite people to sit down, chat with a stranger, and hopefully leave with a new friend!
