Announcing Massachusetts Good Neighbor Day in 2025

September 26-28, 2025

We are excited to announce that plans are underway for the Massachusetts Good Neighbor Day of Action, scheduled from September 26 to 28, 2025. Building upon the success of 2024, this initiative aims to strengthen community bonds and combat social isolation across the Commonwealth. We encourage all residents to participate by engaging in acts of kindness, organizing community events, and reaching out to neighbors to foster a more connected and supportive environment. Together, we can create a culture of caring and respect that enhances the well-being of all.

To get started with organizing an event in your community, download out 2025 Toolkit with information about the goals for Good Neighbor Day, activity suggestions, community building techniques, and promotional ideas.

And please share your event with us so we can help and support your efforts!

To find out more about how we are stronger, safer, and healthier together, read a message from Sandra Harris, Co-Founder & Co-Leader of the Massachusetts Coalition to Build Community and End Loneliness.
