We focus on inspiring and encourage healthcare professionals on the frontlines who witness firsthand how social disconnection contributes to poor healthcare outcomes to join the movement to help end loneliness in the Commonwealth.
Our Purpose
Recruit and mobilize existing Coalition members who are members of the healthcare field to help raise awareness among their colleagues and patients about the health risks.
Encourage integrating loneliness into clinical practice as a routine part of healthcare delivery
Advocate for “social prescribing,” where health care professions can prescribe social connection opportunities and places to patients and members
