We focus on inspiring and encourage healthcare professionals on the frontlines who witness firsthand how social disconnection contributes to poor healthcare outcomes to join the movement to help end loneliness in the Commonwealth.
Focus Areas
Recruit and mobilize existing Coalition members in the healthcare field to help raise awareness and encourage their colleagues to embrace social health as a core pillar of overall health.
Host educational workshops or seminars including data on the benefits of connection as well as actionable strategies and available resources such as social prescribing.
Develop toolkits, resources, materials providers can easily integrate into their practices.
Leverage partnership with healthcare institutions and public health departments to promote social health in state-wide campaigns.
